Guitar Zero was commissioned by The Flowers Band for their 2024 Brass in Concert programme, "Game On".It is an ode to the fast-paced rhythm games that were incredibly popular in the 2000s.The most famous of the genre is without a doubt Guitar Hero, where players could feel like they were on stage with iconic bands such as Metallica, AC/DC, Aerosmith, and many others!

Some songs became absolute favourites among players, and Stijn Aertgeerts has taken some of the most iconic themes from the game and mashed them up into an exciting programme finisher — full of energy and with plenty of opportunities for each section of the band to shine.

Featuring hits like Cliffs of Dover (Eric Johnson), Through the Fire and Flames (DragonForce), I Love Rock ’n’ Roll (Joan Jett & The Blackhearts), Stairway to Heaven (Led Zeppelin), Dream On (Aerosmith), Thunderstruck (AC/DC), and Sweet Child O’ Mine (Guns N’ Roses), the band can truly feel like they’re shredding guitar solos on the stage of a massive arena!
