Pierre-Antoine Savoyat

Pierre-Antoine Savoyat is a French trumpet player and composer, who lived in Brussel since 2016. He’s one of young emergent musician of the Brussel’s jazz scene. As a composer, he work with a lot of different formation: Brass Band (Hauts-de-France Brass, Brass Band Buizingen, Brassage Brassband, EYBB 2016/Erik Janssen, Burgundy Brass…) Wind Band (Ensemble à Vent de l’Isère/Eric Villevière), Symphonic Orchestra (Orchestre Victor-Hugo de Besançon/Jean-François Verdier), chamber music, big band… He composed for the two first CDs of the French Tenor-Horn Sophie Binet-Budelot “Adventures” (a tenor horn concerto recorded with Hauts-de France and Luc Vertommen) and “Alive” (two chamber music pieces with tenor horn). He also wrote for great musicians like Eric Planté (solo trumpet of the French Republican Guard Orchestra) or Christine Rolland (2nd Euphonium of Paris Brass Band).
